- Vehicle Rollover
As volunteers were
clearing from the fuel spill on Highway 231 the alarm was put
out for the overturned vehicle also on Highway 231 at the
southern end of the first due area. Engine 4 and Rescue 4
responded with 6 volunteers and were joined by the BMVFD EMS
Supervisor who responded with 2 additional personnel. Units
arrived to find one vehicle on its side only 15 feet from where
a vehicle came to rest after overturning three weeks ago (see
6-19-2007). Once again, the driver was able to free themselves
prior to BMVFD arrival and fortunately was uninjured. Volunteers
remained on the scene for 30 minutes until the arrival of the
Alabama State Troopers.
