- Brush Fire
At 4:15PM,
volunteers were alerted to the brush fire across from Station
One on Highway 231. Brush 1 and Engine 1 responded with 8
volunteers. The fire was contained to less than an acre
and, although it threatened a small outbuilding, the fire was
extinguished before any damage occurred to the building.
Chief Whisenant had the Highway 231 command.
